Introduction:
Performing Arts Training Room is a classroom with multiple functions, suitable for various ends: holding orientations, having a speech, training on drama-performing and giving a lecture. There is a 16-input mixed mainframe, with 8 sets of microphones. The wireless microphones can be used here as well as in the Performing Arts Center. The audio system employed in Performing Arts Training Room is the same as that in Performing Arts Center (listed below). There is a camera installed in the lab for recording . In this classroom, teachers can use the Internet and the high resolution VGA-out put autocue, which is connected to the computer and the projector. The autocue can show the materials in use, books, and journals on screen with clarity. The designs of desks may vary based on different courses’ needs.

Users need to apply to the English Department two weeks before the date of the activity. Applicants not following the procedure of application would be denied the privilege to usethe classroom. With the president’s permission, the activities held on behalf of Wenzao are not restricted in this case.

Non-Wenzao applicants have to come to Wenzao, make application and pay for maintenance fee, electricity and water bill.

Wenzao users need to apply in name of their chief; student societies in name of the chief of extra-curriculum activities office. For applicants from other organizations, the application with an official document, the application should be made with an official papers.

Except for formal performances, student societies or associations can only apply for rehearsal for once. Flexible adjustment would be allowed in case of important performances.

Activities held by student societies, and associations—all of them should be held during office hours. Users have to pay for staffs for working overtime on condition that the activities are not held during office hours.
