Teaching Features     To enrich their teaching, teachers at Wenzao employ various approaches, such as conversation, class discussion, role playing, and oral presentation. All the courses are taught in English. Extracurricular activities are meant to increase the opportunities, effectiveness and motivation of students in English learning. A number of activities were held to get students involved in English learning environment, including the English speech contest, the English reciting contest, the English singing contest, the spelling contest, the English Day, English drama performance, English broadcasting drama contest, and Graduation drama performance. Saturating in English learning, students are able to sharpen their skills by preparing for these activities.

International Exchange
     The Department collaborates with language centers of overseas schools to host English camps or orientations in summer and winter breaks, with the purpose of enhancing students’ English proficiency and broadening their worldview. The collaborating schools include Queen Margaret University, University of Southampton, University of Portsmouth, Bath Spa University, Anglo-Continental and University of Dubuque in the USA.
